Shoulder Pain Treatment

Restore Range of Motion and Strength

Whether it's a frozen shoulder limiting your reach or a rotator cuff injury keeping you from sports, expert physiotherapy is the gold standard for non-surgical shoulder recovery.

Common Shoulder Conditions

Frozen Shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis)

Severe stiffness and pain. The shoulder capsule thickens and tightens. Recovery takes time but physio is essential to regain movement.

Rotator Cuff Tears

Injury to the muscles stabilizing the shoulder. Causes pain when lifting arm. Partial tears heal well with strengthening exercises.

Shoulder Impingement

Tendons get pinched between bones during arm lifting. Often caused by poor posture and muscle imbalance.

Dislocation / Instability

When the ball pops out of the socket. Rehabilitation is critical to prevent it from happening again.

Clinical Home Care for Shoulder Pain

Pendulum Exercises

Lean forward, supporting your good arm on a table. Let the painful arm hang loose like a pendulum. Gently swing it in circles. This creates space in the joint.

Sleep Position

Avoid sleeping on the painful shoulder. If on back, place a small pillow under the arm for support. If on side, sleep on the good side with a pillow hugging your chest.

Wall Climbs

Stand facing a wall. Walk your fingers up the wall as high as comfortable. Hold for a few seconds. This helps maintain range of motion.

Ice vs. Heat

Use ice for acute, sharp pain (15 mins). Use moist heat for dull, stiff aches (frozen shoulder) before doing exercises.
